The Habersham Baptist Association of Churches delivered a “Gift of Love and Support” to 516 teachers of the Habersham County School System. Reverend Grady Walden from Clarkesville Baptist Church, and current Moderator of the Habersham Baptist Association of Churches, recently presented monetary gifts for the teachers to Matthew Cooper, Superintendent of the Habersham County Schools. Rev. Walden said, “The Baptist churches of the HBA desired to show our love, support, and prayers for ALL of the 516 teachers of our school system with this monetary gift. Our prayer is that the gift can help them as they begin this new school year. But also remind them that our churches are praying for them and the children each and every day. May God’s hands be upon our entire school system in this upcoming year.”
