Each year, Habersham Baptist Association churches collect gift cards for Georgia Baptist Children’s Homes and Family Ministries (GBCHFM), a Christian agency that believes in caring for and loving people as Christ would have them do, maintaining a posture of serving, and walking alongside children and families. GBCHFM services are designed to promote the spiritual, physical, and emotional well-being of children, youth, and families. Although GBCHFM serves children and families who are left with impressions that are often difficult and deep-rooted, the staff and volunteers find it to be a joyful and rewarding experience to be with them during that season of their lives.
